This is now the second windows 10 update in succession that has wrecked my computer!.
I’ve now disabled windows update by going to ‘services’, windows update properties and disable!. The update downloaded again (I read on the internet how to delete pending updates and did that). I”ve run the upate troubleshooter (both downloaded and already on my computer). I tried press F8 as windows booted up (thought that didn’t work anymore) and finally I get the option to start in safe mode, and windows finally said it was unable to install the update and returned me to previous setting!. I used a recovery cd, tried most of the advanced options and restore points, nothing worked!.
Guess what I get the dreaded circling dots again against black backround!. I did it again, I trusted windows 10 to install the above update.
